VISION QUEST GUIDES

Dr. Michael DeMaria,  a licensed clinical psychologist, is also founding director of ONTOS: A Center for Being.    He has been a practitioner of various forms of meditation and psychospiritual growth for the last 20 years.  He has apprenticed with Native American and Euro-American Guides for the last 7 years in the art of the vision quest.   He is a member of Spiritual Directors International and the Wilderness Guides Council.  His vision has been interweaving the teaching of the ancient innate wisdom traditions of the world with contemporary depth psychology to bring rich clarity and vitality to our day to day experience.

Patti Rieser, CFNP is a nurse practitioner and certified Wilderness First Responder who spent the first 17 years of her adult life working with chronically ill children and their families.   She now embraces her call to serve by bringing her passions for wild places, meditation, music, writing and the martial arts into her role as a vision quest guide.
