CAPE SAN BLAS VISION QUEST: April 28 - May 4, 2001

A Vision Quest fast in the mystical Cape San Blas Wilderness area. This amazing and incredibly pristine beach eco-system is one of the last with a plentiful population of deer and other wildlife. 60 ft. dunes with exotic pine hammocks and canopies create miles of ideal solo spots for a Vision Fast. Includes first night at the Fauria House Pensacola, FL., 4 nights at Cape San Blas (one as a group/3 solo) then one night incorporation back at the Fauria House. This experience involves intensive explorations of identity and personality as related to soul work, therefore participants will be screened by the guide. SOUL JOURNEY: PAGOSA SPRINGS, COLORADO: JUNE 23 - 29, 2001

An in depth exploration of soul work with out the four day solo fast. Instead there will be medicine walks to many sacred sites including some spectacular waterfalls, rock slides and peaks with awesome solitude. The central "quest" part of this journey will be a silent fast during the middle of the week. There will be a Natura Lodge (a variation of the traditional Native American Sweat Lodge), Dream Circles every morning, Journeying, Healing work and within a wilderness setting along with a cleansing diet that will help you heal your body as well as your soul. This adventure will take place for the most part at Spirit Rest Retreat Center. No Camping. Cost includes all lodging and meals. Guides: Michael DeMaria, Ph.D. and Patti Rieser, CFNP.

THE WAY OF THE QUEST: CAPE SAN BLAS: DECEMBER 2001

A time for solitude amongst dunes, sugar white quartz crystal beaches, deer, sunsets...This weekend wilderness intensive is designed for two types of people: 1) Those interested in enacting a Vision Quest fast in the future, but would like an introduction to the process before embarking on the full 4 day quest. 2) For those who have quested before who want to hone their soul work skills - For group 1 there will be a 24 hour solo - for group 2 the solo is optional. For those not on a solo, we will be at base camp exploring many other soul work skills: Soul Tracking, Journeying, Sacred Silence, etc. This will be held at the magical Cape San Blas St. Josephs 2500 acre wilderness preserve right on the Gulf of Mexico. Two nights three days. Permission of Guide required. Those who have not quested before cost $300. For those who have quested $250. Guide: Michael DeMaria, Ph.D.
